On the first day, we went there with thoughts of chilling at the beach in the night after the kids slept but little did we know how worn out we would be. We were greeted by kids playing Hunter, Fire & Earthquake and Simon Says. All of us got woken up by this boy (whom later we found out is named Ruben) tickled us so badly with his response to "Simon says scratch your backside" and "Simon says shake your butt". He did it so enthusiastically. LOL LOL LOL!! The three days and two nights there taught me many things and I hope I did impart some of my leadership skills to the kids. I saw myself in a different light - apart from me being my trademark of "Sleepyhead".

Here are the highlights:
1) We found costumes in the room that we were sleeping in -- in the heat of that moment, the girls tried squeezing into them (considering they are for primary school kids). Attempted photography twice but people just had to enter the room and we scrambled to take them off. In the end, we only slipped them through our arms.

2) Something cool that thrilled everyone one of us when we first entered the school was this mega huge Western Chess board. Wancheng and I played one round, cool or what! :) :)

3) On the first night, we attempted to sneak out of school by climbing over this gate. On the first try, Gary and I climbed over and Charis was on the gate when we spotted a passerby who was obviously glaring at us. The conscience in us made us climb back into school also because Priscilla spotted a black figure in the school walk past us. That made us feel like going ghost hunting so we started idling around the school compound.


Here's the freaky part -- we went up to the fourth floor (the place rumored to have the ghastly beings) and Mr Koh told us that everything there is turned off (as in electricity etc. because no one is supposed to go up there). But! As we walked past the computer labs, we saw some computers on standby mode....

4) After the ghost hunt, we made a second attempt on trying to get out of school because all of us wanted to get some drinks. The school doesn't have vending machines! This time, Salem and Jiahe made it over but when Pris was on the gate (at the half mark), we saw the dark figure again! The dark figure was the Asst. Camp Commandant, yeah shucks! Salem and Jiahe went to hide and the rest of us pretended to ask him for the key. He left and never came back with the key so I climbed over and went to buy the stuffs with the two dudes. When the three of us climbed back in, we were already so tired out. I didn't even have strength to lift my feet and myself over the gate. LOL, I climbed four times.

5) Charis incurred an injury while climbing. A huge blueblack at her kneecap that later became red.

6) Jiahe and Salem found themselves girls. Yeah, cool eh! They even jump and hug them from the back lah. LOL LOL! Here's a picture of Jiahe's fling (sorry dude!)
