I went for my dose of 1km ytd, it was soooo good without lil kids cutting your lanes and old men lazing by the sides. Just that there was this bunch of chinese boys who were acting their age - 3years old. Bleaugh! I think i will try 1.5km next time
Forgot to mention these two unfortunate happenings that prolly will decide how I'll react to things in the future. 1) I lost my necklace and one of my favourite pendant last Saturday ): Was very upset because I only noticed when I got home. For once, I'm absent-minded. That pendant meant alot to me and it's one-of-a-kind! 2) I got stuck in the lift when I left my house for the Chinese paper on Wednesday. Got totally freaked out because I was already on the first floor but the door refused to open. I tried pulling the doors apart and making the lift go up but to my horror of horrors, the LCD screen that usually reads "Level 1" now said "PLEASE PRESS THE BELL FOR ASSISTANCE". Okay, first thought that ran through my mind was
Shit! then I wondered to myself what would happen if missed/was late for my paper and I started hoping that you would appear in your uniform to save me but in the end I turned to God. Lol, said a prayer under my breathe and after I ended it with an Amen, the lift started moving up and I stopped at the 7th story. Went down via the staircase this time round and went to school. Once again, He saved the day :)
Today as I was dragging my body to school, I saw CF and he really brightened up my dreary Saturday! Hahaha :D
I want very much to cycle. The few of us used to make it a point to have at least one biking outing during every holiday and every public holiday would mean an outdoor day for us. But this time round, I hang my head in shame that I have never joined them for any of the dinner dates yet. I promise to go the next time! :) I've been getting overtaken by the pangs of nostalgia these days and its pretty bad..
Let time test us, you say
