Sitting and wondering"Do you think of me like how I think of you?"
Yesterday was my cousin's birthday. (Shes' probably the only cousin I'm close to and we're not exactly cousins either.) Anyway,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DENISE! :D :D Well, we've been supposed to meet for a shopping trip and catchup since 1350355925 years ago but I've been pushing it further and further away. So happened that there were last minute arrangements for us to meet up for dinner yesterday on her birthday itself, awwh man! Lol! And I, being the person I always am, didn't check my phone till after training. Got a big shock to find a thousand missed calls and two thousand unread messages. Seems like they've been trying to contact me since 4something (but I remember checking my phone at 4something during Lit tut leh :/) and they thought I didn't want to meet up (who says!). Managed to rush down to Airport Sakae after training (yes, sticky and stinky especially after dawning the goalie suit!) and had a good meal with her, her Mum and my Mum :)
A topic that we dwelt upon throughout the whole meal was about the salvation of the older people in my extended family. My maternal grandmother and all my Mum's siblings are serving in church actively for quite some time already. But not on their side, most of the uncles and aunties are saved but not attending church regularly. The granduncles and grandaunties have been to church and have witnessed how big God is but their doubt: What makes us, Christians, so sure that we'll definitely go to Heaven?
Faith is a substance for the things hoped for, proof of the things unseen
I'll be seeing you in Heaven :)
