Headed down to Juls' place after school today for a Movie Marathon of Stay Alive and Click. I sort of felt asleep during Click? Lol! Then I woke up and saw dear little Charis next to me wiping her tears and telling me "man, this show is so sad!". So after that first run ended, I went back to the part where I fell asleep from and watched it.
The scene came where Newman found out that his father had died but he had missed that moment in his life. Not because he missed it on purpose but because he lost the power to live his own life. He went back to the last time he saw his Dad, old and wrinkled, yet cheerfully entered his glamorous office and asked him out for a drink in the evening together with Big Ben, his son. Newman turned down the offer with his head kept down towards files that meant millions of dollars to him. When his father tried persuading him to take time off, he shunned his father. "I'm sorry I barged into your office, Michael. I love you, Son" then he walked away, heart in hands.
